Emily is a young mother and heroin addict, struggling to maintain a relationship with her daughter and a grip on reality. Yearning to break the cycle of addiction and abuse, Emily is haunted by the question: is love really enough to heal a broken person?
Seahorse was filmed on location in Austin and the Texas Gulf Coast. Principle photography was completed in 2019, and post-production was completed in 2022. Seahorse made its debut at the Rockport Film Festival and will continue in the 2022-2023 festival circuit.
